The hardest part of leaving is when you're not moving

no matter how far i’ve travelled
no matter how fast i can go
i’ll be just right here
right next where we left off
my mind tells me to erase you from it
my heart refused to
can i keep the best parts?
can i skip the part where i had to let you go?
because from the worst side of it all
the best thing is to know that you’re still here
and i still love you for that matter



life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
